INDIANA NATIONAL FIRE ACADEMY WEEKEND
Friday, June 1st Through Sunday, June 3rd, 2018
If you are interested in going to the National Fire Academy for Indiana weekend on June 1-3, 2018 you should sign up in the Acadis portal as soon as possible. NFA course enrollment rosters must be turned in no later than April 15th, 2018. Once you are signed up please submit your NFA application short form. Please ensure it is filled out completely and signed.
Once Application is complete you may either mail it back to me at 302 West Washington Street Room W-246, Indianapolis, IN 46204 Care of Wade Walling, Training Program Manager, or you can email it to: (wwalling@dhs.in.gov).
 
Buses will depart Greenfield Fire Department at 6:00am sharp on June 1st and return back to Greenfield Fire on Sunday, June 3rd approximately 11:00-11:30pm.
 
Please ensure you bring enough money to pay for your meals on the trip to and from the NFA. Once we arrive at the National Fire Academy your meals and room will be provided for.

Fire Classes

There are a couple more spots in for the FOST class that starts April 9th and runs the month of April.

This class is a go. There is still some time to Sign up if you are wanting to get this class. Remember the General class is mandatory for all of the D/O classes. So get it out of the way so you can take the other classes.

The Driver Operator General and Aerial class in Waynetown has moved dates. We have elected to do this instead of canceling the class all together.

D/O General will now start:

Engine Nozzle Training

Here is a class for Nozzle Operations.  It is a two day class the week before FDIC down in Indianapolis.  This is 22 hours of engine company work to include fire behavior, fire attack,and team hose movement.

All the proceeds from the class will go to the Indy Emerald Society Charitable initiatives.
